Life Cover is an insurance policy that pays out a lump sum upon death or on diagnosis of a terminal illness*. This usually arranged to cover the mortgage amount across the mortgage term or a term set on application, however any amount you deem necessary to protect your family can be arranged. Whole of Life cover is also available.

When we propose Life Cover for you, we consider not only the debts / mortgage you have outstanding, we consider the people who depend on you and how they would cope without your income. Which is why Life cover can be paid as an income to replace that of a lost loved one, often referred to as Family Income Cover.

Whole of Life Cover unlike normal Life Insurance, which has a policy end date, Whole of Life Insurance only ends when you die. This is why the payout is guaranteed. This is also known as Life Assurance.

*Life cover pays on diagnosis of a terminal illness providing life expectancy is less than 12 months.

The initial consultation to establish your requirements is free. For mortgage applications, a fee may be chargeable. Typically, we charge a fee of £495 when purchasing a property, or £295 for a remortgage, however the actual fee will depend on your circumstances. Terms of business will be discussed during the first appointment and charges will be quoted dependent upon your requirements and financial circumstances.
