Income Protection

Cover against your salary

Falling ill or being involved in an accident causing injury to the point you are unable to go to work can be emotionally distressing, let alone the financial stress and impact it can have. You may be the main income earner or a significant party to the household bills. This cover will take the stress away from illness and allow you to focus on more important things in life, mainly your recovery.

If today your income was gone, what would be your main concern? How will you cover your mortgage, monthly bills or maintain your lifestyle? What impact do you think that could have on you andyour family. Do you receive employer sick pay?

For example you may receive 6 to 12 months full pay, or 6 months full reducing to half for 6 months depending on your employment contract, but many people only get Statutory Sick Pay (also known as SSP) which more often than not is not enough to even cover your mortgage repayments let alone your household bills.

We arrange Income Protection to kick in when your employer sick pay ends, meaning you can continue to live

without suffering financially, until you return to work, retire, the policy ends, or sadly pass away. Income Protection also compliments Critical Illness cover as this would pay out for conditions such as Mental Health and Musculoskeletal conditions.

Remember your income underpins your whole lifestyle, therefore this cover is one we are very passionate about to ensure your lifestyle can continue should the worst happen.

We also offer Accident, sickness and unemployment insurance which is a short term income protection policy that replaces your income for up to 12 months, should you be unable to work due to accident, sickness or involuntary redundancy. Unemployment protection insurance can also be brought as a standalone product, as can accident and sickness protection.

Contact us for more information on Income Protection Cover, we have access to a number of carefully selected providers such as Aviva, Legal & General, and Vitality amongst many more..

As with all insurance policies, conditions and exclusions will apply.
